Also Interacting with Influential and Prestigious Dignitaries. Students of MLZS presented handmade and self decorated diyas in paper bags which were also beautifully crafted on their own along with meaningful greeting cards conveying Diwali wishes


Elegant, Unique and Creatively Made Rangolis by Students of MLZS Kathua displaying and spreading bold messages of "Unity in Diversity ","Swacchh Bharat ", "Plant more trees","Green Deepawali Clean Deepawali " and most importantly "Save Girl Child"


Students of Mount Litera Zee School Kathua participated in Kho-Kho Championship.


Participation in Interschool Declamation Competition organised at Stephan International School Jammu under the flagship of CBSE Sahodaya.
Shashwat Kohli of class VI spoke on the topic "Education without moral values is no education at all".

Janmashtmi Celebration

 

Mount Litera Zee School, Kathua organized the auspicious occasion of Janamashtmi with fun & frolic in school on 24th August 2016(Wednesday) with the motto to celebrate Lord Krishna’s Birthday. Mrs. Mili R. Sumbria Principal along with faculty members welcomed the hon'ble Chief Guest Mrs Anu Dogra (Chairperson MLZS Kathua),Mrs Rita (Educationist) and Mrs Ruchi Gupta (Special Guest) .The Programme comprised of a Dance competition ,Music competition and Handi Decoration competition for Mothers alongwith their ward.Beautiful and elegant mothers with their wards came dressed on the theme of Jamashtami , they wore colourful lehengas and sang and danced merrily on the tunes of different numbers like "yashomati mayaa se pooche nand lala.. ......."etc



The Prizes in this were based on 3 categorized, they were

1. Dance
a. Ist Prize Akshit Andotra
b. 2nd Prize Saba Choudhary and Tanusya Ajarwat

2. Music
a. Ist Prize Harshit Jamwal

3. Handi decoration
a. Ist Yashvi
b. 2nd Anmol Sharma



GUEST OF HONOUR Mrs Rita shared her views on the occasion. She said events or celebrations like these not only help to know our traditional culture better but are also a source of happiness for all. She along with all the judges extended appreciation to all participants and wished everyone HAPPY KRISHNA JANAMASHTMI.
Chief Guest Mrs. ANU Dogra (Chairperson, Mount Litera Zee School, kathua) emphasized on the fact that patience and good will are two important aspects and Lord Krishna’ s Birth on earth is significant of it .It reinforces our faith in God and the struggle of good over evil. She congratulated all the Prizes winners and praised each one’s performance
The tiny tots from Play Group to Class 1st came dressed in colourful and vibrant get ups of Krishna, Radha Arjun etc, enchanted different ceremonial hymns and danced with their steps matching to the tunes of the flute as if embodying Lord Krishna himself and his Sakhi. The student of senior classes decorated and made the traditional Jhula with Laddu Gopal seated on it. All the little Kanhas along with Radhas gave Jhula to Laddu Gopal. Also the students from the senior wing carried out the tradition of Dahi Handi recreating Lord Krishna’s youthful days, the Dahi Handi is symbolic of Lord Krishna’s playfulness and mischievous acts. The students from senior wing made a human pyramid to reach a high hanging pot of butter and broke it in the customary way.
On this occasion Miss Romy Sharma and Miss Monika cultural heads encouraged and boosted the morale of the students while they were building the Pyramid narrating them incidents of Lord Krishna’s Childhood Days. It is these occasions that bound and strengthen the warmth amongst one and all and re instills our faith in the Almighty.



SaReGaMaPa Audition

 

Mount Litera Zee School, Kathua today organized Audition for Zee TV show SaReGaMaPa Lil’ Champs for the National Level Audition which will be held on 7th and 8th Jan 2017 at New Delhi.
Around 100 participants from different schools of District Kathua participated in this Talent Hunt Event. Audition was done by renowned Singers and Magician of the region Miss Sonali Dogra, Mr. Rajveer Singh, Miss Vibha Bharti.
Eleven melodious singers get a direct entry pass (cut the queue passes) to the National Level Audition going to be held in Delhi.

Among the participants of Audition were Mr. Satish Singh Jasrotia, Mrs. Mili R Sumbria (Principal, Mount Literal zee School,Kathua), Mrs. Anu Dogra(Chairperson), Mr. Pankaj Dogra (Manager) , Mr. Sudhir Mahajan,Mr Narshotam Mahi (Music Tecaher) who graced the occasion.
